Emma Lake: Donald Trump Still Wants to Send Us to War

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/north-korea/north-korea-still-making-nukes-trump-admin-now-taking-much-n907651

So. Apparently, we were never safe.
Firstly, there's divisive, murderous racism and sexism within our country.
But wait, there's more; we're still probably going to end up in a war.
Y'know, the funniest thing about this whole North Korea x America biz is that none of these issues would even be present if America hadn't of interacted wrongly, as it so usually does, with Korea, driving it to its splitting war. Sigh, but we're here now I suppose.
Just recently, North Korea hosted an annual parade, showcasing tanks and other war material...but no missiles. Now we don't need to see these nuclear weapons to know they're big bad bois. But I guess now Kim Jong-un knows that now.
Oh, the element of surprise.
Trump tweeted (stupidly), "North Korea has just staged their parade, celebrating 70th anniversary of founding, without the customary display of nuclear missiles. Theme was peace and economic development." False alarm guys, Kim Jong-un doesn't want to eradicate the American race, uwu.
This is just another example of bigotry in history. Someone needs to remove twitter from the president before we get bombed because apparently he has a tweet draft that could literally spike heat between our already boiling countries. So that's fun. I really hope I make it to legal drinking age. This article was simply written to spread awareness; y'all can start calculating just how long we have left. Anyways, y'all ready for this BTS concert?

  1. Emma Burkey: I love your flare that you put into this article and as much as it was comic relief, I am unsettled. Honestly I have been since November 2016, but the fact that a man with no self control and the impulse of someone on a sugar high has control of our nuclear weapons makes me truly scared for my life. This issue among others haunts my nightmares and I think more people should pay attention to the things that could happen to them at any moment.
