Today, President Obama and Raul Castro are scheduled to meet in Havana, Cuba to discuss relations between Cuba and the US. This meeting is very significant because it's the first time since the Communist revolution that American and Cuban governments have met. This meeting is set to discuss relations between the two countries, and economic/political differences, and human rights. President Obama plans to also discuss the Cuban government's "repressive tactics" concerning how they treat their citizens, and the general population.

The meeting has not happened yet, but it seems to be a turning point in the relationship between two countries that have been passive-aggressive towards each other for many years. Who knows what the outcome will be, but we might be on the path of better communication with Cuba, as well has helping them improve their infrastructure.

  2. This relationship between the U.S. and Cuba is honestly a dangerous one. To me, there will honestly always be tension so I guess we will have to see how this turns out.
