This article directly relates to U.S.-Cuban relations during the Cold War. The United States tried to take down the communist leaders (Fidel Castro) in Cuba. An example of this was their attempt to quarantine Cuba instead of directly invading them to stop them from launching their new missiles, and eventually working with Khrushchev to remove the missiles before starting a nuclear war (Cuban Missile Crisis).

Barack Obama in Cuba at start of historic visit Jasmine Rodriguez Period 4
This article talks about Obama's visit to Cuba to meet with its communist leader. He is the first president to visit the island since the issues of the Cold War. He went to the island to discuss trade and political reform with the communist leader Raul Castro (not the revolutionary Fidel Castro that caused the United States problems during the Cold War Era).

Although I am glad that Obama has made efforts to improve the U.S.' relationship with Cuba, I am still worried about Cuban intentions in this relationship. Hopefully, they are good and we will both benefit, but I am going to wait and see.
