The United States FBI director has predicted that soon, ISIS will be using more sophisticated internet hacks and malware in order to infiltrate other countries. A cyber security located here in our country has predicted that it is simply the next logical step for the organization. Even more concerning than this is the idea of these programs getting into the hands of North Korea or China. Lately, there has been more attention paid to potential terrorist infiltration since, according to the US FBI director, it just "makes sense." Organizations such as the FBI are trying to balance the cost of personal privacy with still having enough funds to deal with public safety and protection against terrorism.
This seems like a long shot. There has been no actual evidence of anything such as computer programs or malware. This seems an awful lot like when President George W. Bush claimed that there were "weapons of mass destruction" in the Middle East. This is one of those possible presidential scandals which no one can decide if really occurred or not. I don't think that this is anything that someone in their right mind could worry about at this point. It is good that the FBI is taking preventative measures in order to ensure that the American people can rest easy at night. If anyone is going to get this technology in their hands in use against the United States first, I honestly doubt that it is going to be ISIS.
