President Barack Obama has now joined the digital age with his very own Twitter account. This has caused a flurry, commonly called a cyber-storm, of people rejoicing that their following is larger than that of the current president. The president's first and only tweet reads, "Hello, Twitter! It's Barack. Really! Six years in, they're finally giving me my own account."
This social phenomenon has been made possible by the one and only world wide web. It is truly a social and digital event that will go down in literal history books because of the significant merge in social media/pop culture and politics/government.
