"Ellis Island Museum to Update the Story of Immigration in America" - Addison Norman pd 2

The Ellis Island Museum announced that next month it will open up a new exhibit; the exhibit will include more recent information on immigration. The museum documents what it was like for immigrants who came through Ellis Island, and it also covers immigration from all around the nation. The exhibits will cover from the 1950's to recent times. Immigration from Mexico is also sited in the museum.
How history is depicted in a museum is important for future generations to understand the past, but in every depiction there will be some basis. That is why in history it important to take note of the source and time of information in order to get a better idea of what life was like.

  1. This is really cool. The immigration through Ellis Island is an unfortunately oft-overlooked part of US history, and so it is good that they are focusing on it.
