Nancy Motes, the half-sister of actress Julia Roberts, was found dead in a Los Angeles home Sunday, the coroner's spokesman said. Paramedics were called to the home after Motes, 37, was found on the floor of a bathroom, according to Los Angeles County Coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter. "She has a history of some medical issues," Winter said. "Some prescription drugs were found near her body." The case is under investigation by the coroner's officer and an autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday, Winter said.
That's right people...they want to try to keep marijuana from being legal, but the FDA will give you medication that has 20 different side effects, including DEATH, and say it's suitable for human consumption. 37 is way to young to die.
You here about all these celebrities and their families found dead, with drugs beside them. More and more drugs are being abused these days.
ReplyDeletecomment by Rhyann lee 5th period . drugs are becoming more and more addicting now a days even if they are trying to help you. people become dependent
ReplyDeleteok obviously i agree that 37 is too young to die and prescription pills do have side effects of death, but only if theyre taken with alcohol or too frequently, etc. They said she had medical issues so maybe she had reached for them before she died. This is heartbreaking but this story has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with marijuana. Sure it can be taken without harmful side effects but it messes with your mind and your judgement, so if its illegal in your state- maybe theres a reason. She wasn't even related to drugs in her death, and her medical examination/ cause of death hasnt been released. theres no reason to come to conclusions that she was an overabuser of drugs. thats right people.
ReplyDeleteJust because the autopsy report said they found prescription drugs in her system doesn't mean that's what killed her. Also I believe you mean to say, "37 is way too* young to die"
ReplyDeleteThis is sad but i do agree with the people above in that we don't really know if it was the drugs that killed her.-Nia Edwards 4th period
ReplyDeleteI agree with everything that everyone else is saying, that there's no definite evidence that she was abusing drugs and that's what lead to her death. What I find even more sad is that if she was a prescriptive drug abuser, that doctors haven't been screening their patients as well to make sure that their patients aren't drug abusers.
