Thanks to the teaser trailer for the new film Guardians of the Galaxy, the song "Hooked On a Feeling" by Blue Swede has been downloaded more than 2,000 times February 19th (just one day after the film's trailer hit the web). Sources say that the song's 2,000 in digital sales instantly gave the tune its best digital sales week ever. In the trailer for "Guardians of the Galaxy," the familiar "oogachaka!" chant from the song can be heard at around the 1:30 mark, and is then repeated during a montage of fiery action scenes. The song is then heard without interruption for the last 20 seconds of the trailer. This new record beats the previous record of 1,000 downloads back in 2008.
ANALYSIS: Ok, I saw the trailer for this film and my god, was it fantastic. The song itself fits so well with the tone of the film and I'm so glad the song is really getting out there to many people in the social media. The song's catchy tune gets me even more excited for the film!
