42 year old preacher ,coots, was once an employee in national geographic know to control serpents and other poisonous snakes. later on he decided to become a preacher and his fellow crew members all agree that if they were to ever be bitten by a snake they are not to receive medical treatment for they believe it's gods way of saying their time has come. coots , like I have said before, worked before for national geographic for a show called "snake salvation" and dies of a snake bite refusing to be treated or to have an ambulance called on to his aid.
I find this quite ironic and yet at the same time noble and loyal of him to die in the hand of what he still cares for.

I really don't get it...if I'm bitten I'm getting going to the hospital
ReplyDeleteThis man really has stunning amounts of will power. However, if a solution is available, is that not a sign that he should survive?
ReplyDeleteIf he believed that his fate was in God's hands, I get it. But didn't that same God also have a hand in creating anti-venom, which could have saved his life?
