Summary: Venture capitalist, Tim Draper, is working on a plan to bring to vote the option to split California into several (6) smaller states. According to him the state of California is too big and too diverse to represent all of the different inhabitants fairly so to fix the problem there needs to be six separate states. In this proposed plan the states will be counties grouped together by location and priorities.
Analysis: I think it's pretty crazy that anyone would actually want to change to states at all because it just seems like this is just the way it has always be so there's no reason to change it. But, in theory, this proposal isn't so crazy, it actually makes a lot of sense. Still, I don't think that a split of California is at all necessary. Next thing we know someone will be trying to split Texas!

Anyone with a basic concept of geography knows Texas is the largest state, next to Alaska. Why not split them up? Why California? This guy should go back to the third grade
