10 filling foods for weight loss/ Arlesia McGowan Period 4

         Lately, I've been on a role, really watching my health and my weight, because I exercise and health problems run in my family. I just thought that besides all the Valentine gooey-ness, this was a fresh eye opener to my senses. These foods that I am about to promote are some of the most healthy and filling foods you can come across these days, especially if your looking for something to nibble on if you bored, which can happen a lot.

            1. The Baked Potato-
 Well, who would have ever thought that the baled potato would be described as healthy. Isn't the potato the origin of our fries? Think again. However these little vegetables are not only loaded with fiber and other nutrients, they preserve energy.

            2. Bean Soup-
When I think soup, I think salty. But if you shift your thinking, you would then remember that beans are full of fiber and water.

            3. Eggs-
WooHoo!! One of my personal favorites. Eggs are naturally appetizing and at the most filling. Not only that, they are extremely high in protein. Never forget the yolk! They are the most important substance in an egg and in the most, the healthiest; it is where most of the eggs protein comes from.

          4. Greek yogurt-
Another personal favorite of mine. Greek yogurt is ranked the top for weight loss. People who intake this natural food loose weight almost instantly and also reduces food intake. It doubles the protein and lessens the sugar that that of regular yogurt.

          5. Popcorn-
Well who would have known? No one can resist the crunchy buttery taste of popcorn. Popcorn takes up more room in the stomach and might decieve you when you think you just consumed more calories than you primarily though you did. A bowl of popcorn has less calories that you might think!

  1. Haha that's so funny. Everything that you named on this list is what people usually try to avoid when they watching their weight. It's good to know that some things we think are unhealthy can actually be good for you, but in moderation.

  2. Yes, now I have a reason to eat popcorn! Not that I need a reason because I eat what I want when I want to anyways. It's just good to be able to back it up now.
