Dogs Getting High? - Abbey Winiger
SUMMARY- The state of Colorado published warnings of marijuana leftovers being kept out for dogs to retrieve after hearing about this case. Patty Moore was heard calling the vet after seeing her dog "acting drunk, almost unable to walk". Moore said she has never smoked, but walked her dog through Denver's Highlands Park where previously there was a 4/20 rally. The vet believes the dog got into an edible someone had left there.
ANALYSIS/SYNTHESIS- Before reading this article I had not heard of this case. apparently its becoming more common for dogs to invest marijuana after it became legalized in Colorado in 2012. This article was written by Andreas Preuss, and he took the point of view of being concerned for the dogs well being. Hopefully this is a wake up call to keep dogs safe from drugs that could be lethal towards them

Kiri Luckey: This is sad! People need to be more cautious. If you going to use marijuana, you need to clean up after yourself.
