Summary: American Airlines flight attendants called on Friday to recall their new uniforms that they received early September which they claimed were the cause for the new string of sickness(headaches, rashes, hives, burning skin, itching, etc) going around. The attendants and the clothing are being tested my professionals to see what may have been the cause of all this. The uniform vendor, Twin Hill, received similar complaints in 2011 from Alaskan Airlines as well. Investigations are still going on.
Analysis: To me, it seems pretty suspicious that Twin Hill is being inspected for a uniform safety issue once again. I would have thought they learned from the first time. The flight attendants definitely need new uniforms and I hope they get them for free.

That is suspicious! Its kind of like in chapter 20 when some northern industries were creating uniforms with bad materials like cardboard shoes. Both of these effect their work negatively.
ReplyDeleteThat's really weird. Hopefully Twin Hill figures out their problem soon!
ReplyDeleteNobody should be forced to wear something that is bad for their health. I think American Airlines should order uniforms from another company and recall the old Twin Hill uniforms. This also sounds like it could be a big lawsuit if it isn't resolved quickly.
ReplyDeleteI agree. This is all pretty fishy to me. I've never liked american airlines, I knew there was something wrong. I hope they get all of this figured out ASAP.

ReplyDeleteThat's really weird. Hopefully they figure out all their problems before more damage is done.
