Teenager has Come Up With Physics Shortcut!- Karina Enriquez

summary:
Senior Ashley Slater from Tualatin High School was able to create an alternative shortcut for a physics problem. She was tired of having to spend too much time on a single learning material, she was learning the Doppler Effect at the moment when she had gotten the brilliant idea of this invention. She created this innovation which has allowed her to enter a contest in hope to win a scholarship of $250,000 . Her innovation is in hope of helping many people out there around the world.

synthesis:
This was written by Mega Sugianto for Fox 12 Oregon, published on November 6,2016. The publisher seems very surprised of the creation and in hope of young senior Ashley being able to receive the $250,000 scholarship. The writer also states how Ashley is among the 30/ 2,500 best student applications of the scholarship. It is very exciting to hear that someone just a couple years older is creating and making the life of teenagers like me easier. This was my very first time hearing about this and I do hope that Ashley succeeds from this. This is just like Eli Whitney's invention of the cotton gin, which made things faster.

  1. That's awesome! I hope she wins and that it becomes mainstream so that by the time we have to do physics it will be there to help us!
