Obama Trades 5 Guantanamo Prisoners for Bowe Bergdahl Madana Kloss 4th
In 2009, Bowe Bergdahl was said to have "deserted" his post in order to seek out the Taliban because he respected their cause to kill the Westerners. It was reported that he was being held captive by the Taliban for five years. It was reported that Bergdahl was also assisting the Taliban by creating traps and helping position IED's (Improvised Explosive Devices) that would create maximum carnage to the American Forces. Charges from Fort Bragg were sent to Bergdahl and he would have to face the preliminary article 32 hearing, also known as special court - marshal, dismiss the charges, "or take any other action deemed appropriate," according to statements released Wednesday afternoon by US army forces command, which has been running the investigation out of Fort Bragg NC (their base). President Obama illegally - according to some constitutional experts - exchanged five detainees of Guantanamo Bay Prison in Cuba in exchange for Bergdahl without consent of Congress. This current event relates back to US history because in US history, it has always been a question of the president's authority when it comes to conduction foreign relations and attacking countries. Some experts actually believe that the president is overstepping his authority and this diplomatic matter that should be decided and run through the legislative branch, Congress, before making a decision. For example, even President Obama as a candidate in 2007 agreed "the president does not have power under the constitution unilaterally authorize a military strike in a situation that does not involve stopping an actual or imminent threat to the nation". Obama now, in current times, does not believe in the words he has stated in 2007.
I believe that President Obama has lost control of the situation. I believe that he has overstepped his boundaries and should have consulted congress before making the decision to swap Bergdahl for the 5 Taliban prisoners.

There are so many things wrong with this entire situation but the one that bugs me the most is the fact that he would exchange five random people for a traitor who is now a Taliban member. He has obviously made his choice so what sense is there exchanging five prisoners for a man who obviously hates America?
