Health in Rural
Indiana has taken a turn for the worse as there has been a breakout
of HIV in Austin taking some people by surprise. It began with a
forty-five year old woman who tested positive for HIV, but didn't
want to go to treatment because she was embarrassed. It is believed
that the outbreak began because said woman was an intravenous drug
user and the dirty needles are what caused the disease.
Protecting humans against disease has always been a problem, from killing all of the native Indians in the 1400's to the HIV breakout today. Modern medicine has made many advances in fixing it after the fact, but hasn't been able to figure out how to stop diseases dead on.

In general I think that if we were to practice a more preventative type of medical care then we will find less people with diseases.
