A cop was killed in the line of duty and all his possessions were being auctioned off. His son, a teenager, took to Go Fund Me to raise a little more than three thousand dollars to bid for his dads patrol car. His family all wanted him to get it, but he knew that his chances were slim. Many well-off people would be there at the auction. The son told his family that he will try his best to bid on the car, but in the end, if someone outbid him, he hoped that the person would give him the car. His forecast became true, as a rich rancher bid $60,000. As the son was nearly in tears, the rancher walked over to him and placed the keys in his hands and walked away.
Amidst all the riots and violence between the police officers and citizens, there is another, more personal, story to them, a life they lead at home. I am truly touched by this generous action, something that is rarely seen today. This reminds me of all the lives lost in the 9/11 attacks, the lives of firefighters taken away brutally.

This is a really great story. Even though the judicial system is really awful, sometimes there can be personal closure for people outside of the court room.
