Today the trial that many families have been awaiting took place. In 2013 a bomb went off at the Boston Marathon. The man... actually the boy that committed the crime, now 21 year old
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev. As he sat in court today he seemed to have no remorse. He seemed bored and uninterested in the trial that could possibly end his life. Yes, he is just a kid, and fighting death with more death may just cause more problems, but families need justice. A death sentence may not be the answer, but life in prison sure is. All of the evidence that point to his motive, and reasons he should be executed are strong. He tweeted, texted, and posted many cryptic messages about what might happen that tragic day. I hope that for everyones sake, justice is served on both sides.
I believe that this man is guilty, although it's most likely he'd been pressured into participating in the attack by his older brother. Social media, and the use of technology most certainly played a role in both understanding his motives and thoughts, as well as literally stopping him in his tracks nights after the incident.
