3 Year Old Shooting -brett akop

A three year old toddler found a gun in his mom's purse and thought it was a toy. He somehow cocked it and pulled the trigger, shooting his dad in the hip and his eight months pregnant mother. Authorities were alerted and the parents were immediately taken to the hospital. The dad was later discharged, but the mother remained in stable condition. So many current events relate back to the second amendment. I think that this is the amendment that Americans most struggle with. I wonder why the gun was in the mom's purse in the first place, and why would they let their extremely young child so near to such a dangerous weapon.
