4 year old, Calise Manning, called 911 to report her mother on the floor "pregnant and shaking" in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Calise's mother, Centerria Manning, who was 9-months pregnant and epileptic, had fallen to the floor and had a seizure on Wednesday. Her mother had taught her what to do in case of an emergency like this. Centerria had taught her daughter their address, how to assess a situation, her mother's full name, and how to dial 9-1-1. During the call, Centerria's fiancé was at work as the ambulance took her to the hospital where she delivered her baby boy, TJ, Friday morning.
Young children who are more capable with handling technology and emergency situations are becoming more and more common. There was a time where a child was hopeless and had to watch the disaster unfolding in front of them. It is responsible from a parents point of view to train your child when you know at any time something could happen. The was Calise handled the situation was with mature expertise without panic or fear. She was well ready to protect her mother and her soon to be baby brother.

This is so amazing and so important. I think it's every parents responsibility to teach their kids what to do in emergency situations because if they don't, they won't automatically know what to do. Every parent should read this!
