Two incidents of missing boaters were reported on sunday at Lake Michigan. The first incident was caused when The boaters entered the water late Saturday night during a voyage from New Buffalo, Michigan, to Chicago. Officials didn't say what happened to their boat. When rescued, the people had cases of hypothermia. The second incident involved the boat riders getting in the water to cool off from the heat but the boat started drifting away and they couldn't get it back. Everyone was wearing lifejackets though.
I think its kind of funny that people can get separated from their boat even when they are right there! Swimming should be a basic skill that everyone learns other wise, don't get in the water. Loosing your boat is irresponsible and childish but i guess it happens to some people.

I also think its weird. It seems so basic. I wonder if they were in any way connected.
ReplyDeleteThat's crazy! Someone should always be on the boat and making sure it doesn't go anywhere.
