Timothy Stone, his girlfriend and two children were riding in their car on and Indiana street. They had stopped at a Stop when they start feeling feeling the car sink. They didn't know what was going on it opened 12 feet wide and 16 feet deep. All of the passengers got to climb out and get out before the front of the car sank all the way in. No one was injured as they climbed out safely. Two wreckers managed to pull the car out. The Water and Sewer director said their was a water main and sewer line that had failed in the area.
This is so scary! The ground can literally eat you whereever you are. Gratefully the passengers got out safely and uninjured. This must have been a confusing and frightening situation for the everyone.
I'm so glad that the family managed to escape safely! I hope that they're all okay and that the sinkhole problem is solved quickly.
