Shooting Spree kills 3 lives -Beatriz Ruiz 4th period
James Brown, 29 years old, was shooting randomly from inside his jeep right before 11 P.M. on Friday night. He shot into Mark Rodriguez's car as he was driving back home from a graduation festivity. Mark, 17 years old was declared dead at the scene. As police officers from Norfolk, Virginia were on the search for the shooter they reached Brown's house. As they approached the jeep Brown shot from inside his house at the two officers. This left Brian Jones and Curtis Allison wounded but Jones didn't survive. Then Brown took off on his jeep but crashed and fought against an officer trying to disarm him but Brown got shot. This left a police officer, Mark, and the suspect dead. Nobody really knows why Brown decided to shoot randomly, but we do know Mark Rodriguez was at the wrong place and the wrong time. This is very surprising and sad how anybody can die like this on such a joyous celebration like a graduation should be.
