12-year-old Wisconsin girl stabbed 19 times; friends arrested

2 twelve year old girls lured their friend into the woods after a sleepover over the weekend, saying they were going to play a game of hide and seek. Morgan Geyser and Anissa Weier allegedly committed this crime as a way to move up on a website about the popular internet character Slenderman. On the website, creepypasta.com, in order to move up as a user, you must kill someone. The girl, who's name has not yet been released, managed to crawl out of the woods and was spotted by a cyclist, who immediately called 911. The girl is said to be okay and in stable condition. Geyser and Weier will be tried as adults and are currently in custody on 500,000 bond. How horrific. I cannot imagine middle schol students committing such a thing, they're not even teenagers yet. I feel terrible for the girl, her wounds may heal, but the emotional scars will be there for a very long time.
