Women jailed for not returnign 2005 movie rental- Michale cano

Kayla Michelle Finley from southcarolina spent a night in jail for not returning a movie all the way back in 2005. she was charged for a misdemeanor charge of failing to return a video which was a VHS lol. the video was Monster Inlaw staring Jennifer Lopez from Dalton videos which is now out of buisness. The WYFF said FInley was at the jail for another matter when an active warrant for her arrest was discovered. Deputy Creed Hashe  said they sent her certified letters in the mail to turn herself in. She spent a night in jail and said "im not a criminal but im getting treated like one". A judge released her on a 2000$ bond.

This article was written by Doug Gross. It was updated Febuary 17th . I  found this article on CNN.com. this article caught my attention becuase  it made me laugh. I feel the idea of somone going to jail over a VHS is funny but then again its sad. I understand that she deserved a night in jail because she was warned by certified letters in the mail. This was a very interesting article for me because i never knew you could get in that big of trouble for a overdue VHS. The write probably wrote this to inform peoplke about the consiquences of overdue VHS movie rentals. This is kinda imortant to readers in America just because im sure most do have over due VHS Movies we havent returned and may effect us in the future.http://www.cnn.com/2014/02/17/tech/web/video-rental-arrest/index.html?hpt=us_c2
