Montana Dalton 2nd - The oldest Star has Been Found

The Oldest Star
A star was recently discovered by a team of Italian  researchers which is now believed to be the oldest star of history. It supposedly formed during the Big Bang which brought the universe together. Its claimed to be around 13.6 billion years old, while the current record was only 13.2 billion years. The star is considered to be somewhat close to our planet in comparison to the others stars. It is in our own galaxy actually, the Milky Way, about 6,000 light years from Earth. The way of determining stellar age is iron, which the lower the iron content in a star's light spectrum, the older it is. This star has an estimated amount of iron  less than one millionth that of the Sun and a factor of at least 60 times less than any other known star. Thus it is now the most ancient star known.

I find this incredibly interesting that our advanced technology has allowed new discoveries like this to  be made daily. Especially throughout our atmosphere and galaxy which is somewhat foreign to us physically, even though we can search and send objects to exp-and our knowledge
