"Bills to legalize medical marijuana introduced in Florida"

Summary:
Bills by state legislators in Florida were introduced to legalize medical marijuana, in a bid to get approval before the topic is voted on to become a constitutional amendment in November. The amendment would state rules for doctors when prescribing the drug to patients to treat illnesses such as cancer, HIV, ALS, and others. This is the fourth year this bill has been introduced and is predicted to have a strong chance of succeeding. It will only become a law if 60% of public voters approve it next November. Democrat leaders are supportive of the idea while Republicans are not. Therefore, a separate bill allowing the use of "non-euphoric" marijuana extract is also coming into perspective for treatment.

Analysis:
I understand how marijuana is helpful in treatment for illnesses, however, if this bill becomes a law, they will have to make sure to figure out how the plant will be grown and how will it be accessible to the people who need it. They will have to make sure it will not get in the hands of people who will abuse the drug and use it for other reasons...
