So, enough of whats going on in the world. Turns out we've missed some discoveries this week. Check it out!

1.) Two stressed out people are better than one!
As much as you want to appear calm cool and collected in front of everyone, studies show that when you share your stress with a group of people the stress lowers- so next time your feeling the blues, talk it out with your loved ones! It helps more than you expect.

2.) Practice balancing- Your spine will thank you:)
More people are suffering from spinal injuries everyday in America especially among older people (yes, I am aware that we aren't older, but its a good fact to know), but if you dont want this happening to you then maybe you should do a few stretches a week. The more flexible the better :)

3.) We have bigger worries than the Freshman '15
Yeah. I know we aren't college students yet but this is something that most of us will be worried about when we get there. Turns out most college students are worried about the 15lb. weight gain. So they starve themselves...don't do that.

4.) Survival of the Fastest.
Based off of a test taken in the U.K. Faster reaction time and remembrance of things proves a longer life. Reaction time may indicate how well our central nervous system and other systems of the body are working. People who are consistently slow to remember or respond to new information increase their risk of dying early.

5.) Music therapy helps younger cancer patients cope
Researchers asked young adults going through cell transplants to write music lyrics and make a music video. Reports showed that the group showed better social integration and resilience.

So yeah I guess this was pretty cool. Nice to know.

  1. The first comment about how sharing stress with another person or group of people is actually quit interesting. I wonder if there have been studies done to acquire this information. And now that I'm thinking about it, i seem to calm down when there is many people around me in a similar situation.
