"Anti-Islam video does not represent Coptic community" by Carter Brown
I never would have thought that a single YouTube video produced in the U.S. would have caused such an uproar. The story goes that last Monday a U.S. man posted a video to YouTube supporting the American Coptic Christian community attacking Muslims and Islams. Many protests have started in Egypt and Libya because of this video and multiple people have been killed over it. Many people call it sick and disgusting, and I have to agree with them.
The way I see it, I would think such an offensive video would be able to be removed from the internet, as it has claimed lives and started many protests. However, because it also expresses freedom of speech, and does not violate Google (who now owns YouTube)'s terms of service, it can not be taken down. The solution, so far, has been that the video has simply been blocked from multiple countries. The video has still not been blocked in the United States.
