Many may remember the scammer Anna Delvey who posed as a German heiress and scammed her way into elite parties and gatherings. She left hundreds of thousands in debt, even forcing a friend to foot a bill of 600,000. Her case has finally made it to trial. She currently faces 4-12 years in prison for fraud and scamming. It has recently come to light that she lacks any sort of remorse for her actions. She admitted she is not sorry for what she has done for the sake of honesty. She said that given the chance, she would do the exact same thing over again.
I'm honestly conflicted about how I feel about her and this. I like the idea of sticking it to the rich elite but even this is still not a victimless crime, what with her abandonment of her friend. She reminds me of many previous scammers, with the most prevalent one coming to my mind Lord Gordon Gordon. Both scammed people, with lord Gordon swindling 1 million dollars.
Seriously? She feels 0 remorse? She deserves a life sentence if she admits that she'll just keep doing it
