In this article it explains everything people should know about the Electoral College and the system of how they are picked, what they decide on, and how they choose the president. It goes into how it plays in the constitution, and how most people would like for the President to be picked based on population. Their has been many requests and votes for that, but it's unclear how that would officially work if thats the case. Americas people are hoping to one day have our government like this, but it most likely won't be anytime soon. This article relates to the beginning of the Articles of Confederation when America was trying to find the way to run the government. They wanted to establish something based on the people but also having a strong government. This is all we want today, and that's why some people complain of the Electoral College. Some believe it's a game or monopoly of choosing our presidents, while others believe it's a safe way to chose our leader. But only time will tell, and of course more research.
