A woman was stopped and arrested on "outstanding matters." When asked if she had anything to declare, she presented the green bag and told them a koala was inside. In Brisbane, Australia, the officers where shocked when she handed over a zipped bag containing a baby koala. The six-month-old koala, has been given to Australia's Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, which said the koala was dehydrated but "doing well."
This relates to Australia's royal society for the prevention of cruelty to animals back in 1824 when it was the first animal welfare charity founded in the world.

Why would the person put the animal in the bag in the first place? I find that cruel already.
ReplyDeleteThings like this are very weird, why did the person put it in there in the first place?
