Famous American sniper, Chris Kyle wrote the autobiography that is behind the American Sniper movie. He is now a recognized American hero. With this recognition comes both wanted and unwanted attention from everyone. Curious about his background, people have been researching him. In his book, Kyle Tells stories about unusual events that he'd experienced such as killing random people in America. People have begun to wonder what exactly is true and false. After doing some research, no one can seem to find evidence that some of the claims in his book are true.
This is interesting because it leads you to wonder how much of his book is legit. Unfortunately, Kyle died before his motives behind his stories could be questioned.

It's kind of sad how he died because he died being shot by a guy whom he taught. You know what they say "you live by the gun, you die by the gun."
ReplyDeleteThis has a lot to do with the development and advancements in PTSD. Mr. Kyle undoubtedly was affected by this war-related disorder, as well as the man who shot him. In his defense, and based on the bits that I have gathered from interviews and reading parts of his book, I believe these anecdotes are true. His job was to kill those with one of the deadliest weapons, and I believe due to many conflicts involving the press and the United States' foreign affairs, many of the incidents probably weren't documented. I believe that he elaborated in such graphic and emotional detail and didn't rely on any other outside sources because he was the only primary and credible source.(Elizabeth Muscari 6th pd)
