Recently, Nancy Pelosi has claimed that if trump were to lose the 2020 election, he’d deny it and find any way to corrupt the people and followers to believe the same to not respect the election. Her is reasoning supported by the tweet trump released shortly after he won the presidential election back in 2016 stating that he won the popular vote, which he didn’t, if it weren’t for all of the illegal voters. He lost the popular vote to Hillary Clinton by just under 3 million, the largest popular vote deficit ever for a president who won the Electoral College but lost the popular vote. People are beginning to wonder if trump will refuse a loss with the 2020 election by just a few votes, what will happen? Will the country find a way to make sense of his bs or will they call him out on the bs. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
This relates to history because we have never once had a president deny the fact that they have lost. Knowing that I’m this day and age people are considering that as a possibility, I’m wondering if the president can really do anything at that point. Will trump try to pass laws of presidential refusal to a loss if had already served one term?
Well all I'm going to say is after Trump's sick joke of term these past few years have been, there better not be that many people supporting him that he's able to get away with another one of his immense lies.
