An extinct species of bird reappeared from “the dead”, claiming the island it had previously lived on while also re-evolving itself back into existence. The white-throated rail populated the Aldabra Atoll in the Indian Ocean and evolved to become flightless, before being completely gone when the island sunk below the sea around 136,000 years ago.
However, researchers found similar fossils from before and after that event which shows the chicken-sized bird re-appeared when sea levels fell again.
This article shows how the wild can impress. This bird proves that wildlife continues to surprise us and is continuously growing. I reported on this article because I think it is essential to learn and stay up to date on events about nature and creatures. This article was published on May 10, 2019, and was made to inform people of new animals
I think it is incredible that the natural world has evolved to exist perfectly like this. I only wish that the bird would have reappeared because of human action controlling global warming as counteraction to the extinction of many animals.- Daniella Castanheira
