Summary:
This article basically informs us about yet another shooting that has occurred. On Tuesday there was a shooting at the STEM School Highland Ranch. Instead of having students looking forward to there summer they have students who are coping with the situation with one student dead and eight injured. Chris Elledge told CNN that its scary to know what can happen next. They have already charged one student with charges for brining the gun and committing this type of actions. Unfortunately there was one student who didn't make it past the shooting and his name was Kendrick Castillo. Kendrick showed no fear as he jumped the shooter himself and saved his classmates.
Analysis:
Its really heart breaking to know that somebody was brave enough to save other people without even thinking twice about their own live. Kendrick was a hero and its sad to know he's gone. I can't even being to imagine what his parents are going through knowing their only child is gone. What was the reasoning to the shooting?
I agree, Kendrick is a very brave person to risk his life in order to save other people.
ReplyDeleteI agree it was very brave of him to risk his life to save others. Also, you would think after all the gun violence awareness that people would actually care about other peoples lives & not shoot up the school. It has already gotten to the point where people are scared to go to school and learn. - Jendayi Harris
