Mollie Hamman 1st Period - US South Korea Missile

In response to North Korea launching ballistic missiles and going against their word, the U.S. is reacting by using the Terminal High area Altitude Area Defense System to block missiles if needed.

What people are concerned about is the location of the bases the U.S. is thinking about using. The local people around the area are worried that having the bases there will make that location a target, and they don't want that close to their homes.

This reminds me of Harry Truman and the atomic bomb. Dealing with large scale weapons is a dangerous battle, and affects very many people in the surrounding area. I hope that this conflict will be kept under control and not get out of hand.

    It's is good that the US is taking action against North Korea. They are dangerous and we need to stop them.
