Katie Haidet - South Sudan Plane Crash

Summary: On Monday, a passenger plane crashed in Wau, South Sudan, but everyone survived. It was making a trip from Juba to Wau, in northwestern South Sudan when it crashed. Most of the passengers were South Sudanese with two foreigners, one each from China and Eritrea. The plane was landing but then crashed, said Wau's Airport Manager. The plane carried 44 passengers and had five crew members, said Youngule. When the plane crashed, its door flew open that allowed the pilot and rescue crews to get everybody out. Images shown of the plane capture the smoke billowing from the wrecked fuselage. U.N. peacekeepers worked with local emergency workers to evacuate passengers from the plane.

Analysis: This article was published on ABC News. Luckily, no on was injured and everyone was safe. It really represents that fact that you cant control what happens, and that everything happens for a reason. You never know what will, nor do you think it will happen to you, but there is still that possibility. Also, the passengers knew exactly what to do, which is why whenever you get on a plane they go through safety procedures.
