Suspect in 4 killings in West Virginia dead- Joe Katinas

Jody Lee Hunt, the suspect in the deadly shootings of four people in Monongalia County in West Virginia today, has been located and is deceased, the county's Homeland Security Emergency Management Agency and state police stated.

The agencies offered no details about where the suspect was found or how the suspect died. There was a search for Hunt, who was suspected of killing four people in three locations in Monongalia County, in the northeastern part of the state. At least one of the shootings happened in Westover, in Monongalia County, and another shooting was reported in an unincorporated part of the county.

"Mr. Hunt did know each of these victims and we do have some key pieces of evidence that do point to him as being the suspect, including his social media traffic as well," State Police Lt. Michael Baylous told to CNN affiliate WTAE. "We have an idea why this may have occurred, but we're not in a position where we're ready to release this as of yet."

This article makes me very sad. It disappoints me when there is killing of civilians, but it outright confuses me when the victims do not know who their attacker island vice versa. I also hate how these crimes usually end this way. After a number of killings the killer kills himself before the police reach him. Although it's not really clear how John Lee Hunt died, what I just said is probably what happened. This article reminds me of several other cases in history where many violent muderes we're quickly committed and then the murderer took his own life.

  1. This is ridiculous! I don't understand why people feel the need to participate in violent activities
