A young boy was reported missing four years ago after visiting his father and step-mother. Police searched the house, but nothing was found. Recently, there has been another search. Police found a fake wall that the child was kept behind. He was used to work in the yard and the neighbors sometimes saw him, guessing he was home schooled.
This reminds me of slavery, in a much less harsh way. The parents took this boy, and used him to work and didn't allow his loving mother to see him, or the world in general. It's a very sad story, and the boy must be very frightened and feel as though he has to be kept behind a wall all the time now. I do hope that all justice is served, and that this boy can enjoy freedom.
I hope that this unfortunate experience doesn't shake him up too bad and hopefully he can go back to living a normal life.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you. It very much resembles slavery and sometimes the lack of love from parents can even lead to violence or violent actions. Because it's been so long he's been behind the wall working, I feel that he doesn't know how life is supposed to go. I just hope his parents get punished and someone cares for him properly.
