Anti-police demonstrators sing 'justice carols- Ausia Jones

In New York City, Protesters sing anti-police songs set to Christmas carols. There is more die-ins held in New York City and Chicago recently. A recent die-in was to show their anger over the grand jury's decision to not indict the police officer that put Eric Garner in a chokehold leading to death. A few hundred protesters gathered again at Grand Central station and Macy's in Herald Square. The mother of Eric Garner said Sunday she's proud people protesting the death of her son have been peaceful for the most part. In Chicago, about 250 people gathered at Saint Sabina Church to chant, "black lives matter" before lying down in silence. Protesters have taken to the streets nationwide. This whole uprising reminds me of the Stono rebellion. These people are fighting for what they believe in. They wanted to be free and they wanted to know that they matter. Still till this day some African Americans question if they matter due to all of the unnecessary shootings.
