Boy Missing Four Years Found- Iris Hughey p.5

After four long years of searching, a mother was finally reunited with her formerly missing 13-year-old son in Atlanta. The boy's father, Gregory Jean and stepmother, Samantha Joy Davis had kept him hidden in their home and had even taken him out on multiple occasions. Neighbors of Jean and Davis say they never felt suspicious because the boy never seemed to be in any sort of distress. Police say they went into the home of Jean and Davis more than once to search for the boy after an anonymous source asked them to. They found the boy after he called his mother and told the police to look behind a false wall, which was where he had been hidden by his father and stepmother.

This story was very strange to me, mostly because the boy had been outside of his home on several occasions for the past four years and had only been discovered recently. This story also makes me wonder how many more missing children have not been kidnapped by total strangers but rather their own family members.
