Baby Orion Explores Space- Hannah Clifford 6th Period

NASA's beloved Orion made its first test flight on Friday and passed with flying colors. NASA has hoped this will take future astronauts to mars. Orion passed around the earth twice before landing in the Pacific Ocean Friday morning. There has been no space craft designed for human flight that has traveled this far since 1972 when Apollo 17 was launched. This successful test flight put optimism in the eyes of NASA's mission to take their human crew to space in 2021.

This was written by Jason Hanna and Amanda Barnett for CNN. This great information reminds us that just like when we launched Apollo 17 in 1972, the United States is constantly expanding our horizons and we're still making new magnificent advances in science. I have complete faith in NASA to successfully send their astronauts the farthest they've ever been when 2021 rolls along.

  2. I am excited and curious to see what NASA's future plans are once they are in space for 2021. Will they start that moon colony that Newt Gingrich was so persistent on creating?
