danger is one of the fascinating risks that makes people seek climbing mount everest. they don't know what could really happen on the peak so the risk is exciting for them. every year since 1990 atleast one person is killed climbing the treacherous mountain, most of the time a lot more are killed. 4 climbers were found dead on the mountain. climbers claim that at those altitudes and temperature the body deteriorates faster making the body more vulnerable to any causes of death. 4 were killed in an avalanche that was so strong that would not have given any of them a fighting chance.
i understand the thrill factor of climbing everest but i don't ever think i could do that. the risk is to much of a downside to me especially with the fact that to climb that mountain successfully there is months needed to prepare for the single climb. this is similar to the Donner Party that was almost all killed due to the cold and geographical conditons of the pass.
