A couple of nights ago a pregnant woman was saved by her own son. The woman was choking on a piece of steak from her dinner and she luckily was able to catch her son's attention before it was too late. The woman was about eight months along when this happened and if she hadn't taught her son the heimlich maneuver she probably wouldn't have made it. The two claimed that the night made them closer as before they were having a couple of problems. This article is important because it shows us the significance of learning the heimlich maneuver and other important techniques such as CPR at a young age.
