A pregnant mom was saved by her own son recently at dinner when she was choking on a piece of steak. She said the piece wouldn't go down and luckily she was able to grab the attention of her son, a high school senior. He was able to preform the heimlich procedure, that she taught him at the age of ten, before it was too late. The mother was eight months pregnant and her son had practice that night but luckily it was cancelled. They both claimed that the situation only made them closer and solved issues they were having earlier.
