Dozens of Methodists Come Out by Shelby Linker, 8th period

Today, about 111 Methodist clergy members came out as an act of defiance of the church's ban on "self-avowed practicing homosexuals" serving as part of the ministry.

This is a great accomplishment and I admire their courage. This reminds me of the sexual revolution when we finally started talked about sexuality instead of ignoring it and considering it taboo.
