In this article it talks about Hillary Clinton saying how she wanted to call for universal background checks and stricter gun policies. Donald Trump quickly responded that she was on a path to abolish the 2nd amendment via the Supreme Court. "We're not going to let that happen," Trump said. "We're going to preserve it, we're going to cherish it." Clinton responded via twitter: "You're wrong, @realDonaldTrump. We can uphold Second Amendment rights while preventing senseless gun violence".
First of all, can we acknowledge the fact that the candidates are going at it via twitter? Flashback to the Kennedy v. Nixon election of 1960 when it was TV that was the tool of the campaigns. Now they're making major statements in 140 characters or less. But about the article: You could tell that the author was totally pro-Hillary, so I'm not quite sure that this was a completely accurate account. I'd like to see a pro-Trump article to compare. One thing that was a little sketchy was how the author only used Trump quotes but was outlining in his own words what Hillary Clinton said. A little biased, but what can you expect? News articles these days are like the propaganda posters during the WW2 era.
