The Global Race To Space - Sintia Radu
Link: https://www.usnews.com/news/best-countries/articles/2018-08-27/60-years-after-nasa-a-global-space-race ________________ Around the late 1950s,(early 1960s) Russia and America competed in a ‘Space Race’, to see which country had the best space technology. Now looking forward to the present, many other countries are getting more and more advanced, to the point where they can launch probes into space and discover unexplored areas. Small companies with enough effort can build a new satellite and can be a rival to NASA. So many different countries are planning out and scheduling when their next launch or mission is next. The earliest one being Russia, then China, the United Arab Emirates, and so on. It’s only a matter of time when someone discovers something unexpected. • My analysis on this article is quite interesting. Technology these days are very advanced and to be greater in the furture is mind blowing. People today can just create a probe, and launch it into space, with enough effort can find something never before seen. It’s crazy! Obviously this reminds me of the Space Race, where America and Russia were competing which country made the more advanced space technology first. They kept one upping each other, Russia being the first man in space, to America having the first man on the moon. But now, the whole world is involved. *Taylor Dunson 4th p.(Blu)*.
