Madi Thoele, 4th Period: Student Arrested for Posing as Senator

SummaryOhio (AP) — A teenager named Izaha Akins toured Mohawk High School in Sycamore, Ohio and spoke to its government class while posing as a state senator. He was sentenced to 3 months in jail last week, but he'll only need to serve a little over 1 month because he's already spent 2 months in jail. Akins pleaded guilty in March to impersonating a peace officer (anyone who who is a state employee).

Analysis: This event can be synthesized to the founding of the CIA in 1947, under the presidency of Harry S. Truman. The CIA often uses what's called covert operations to gather information they need. Their covert operations technique can be compared to Akins's, using disguises.
I think this article is an example of bad journalism. It's informative, but not that informative. It is written in a way that leaves something to be desired. I got to the end of the last sentence and immediately thought I missed information. It is also short in length. Therefore, the author of this article seems untrustworthy. Perhaps there could be more information that the audience does not know.
